Cookies are small files stored on the User's device during browsing, used to ensure proper functioning of the site/application, improve user experience, and collect statistical information.

3Categories of Cookies Used
3.1 Technical / Essential Cookies
Necessary for the operation of the site and the Lunocode SaaS service: managing user sessions, authentication, security, purchase, and billing processes. They do not require prior consent pursuant to Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and EDPB Guidelines 05/2020, as they are strictly necessary to provide the service explicitly requested by the User.
3.2 First- and Third-Party Analytics Cookies
- Google Analytics 4: Third-party analytics cookie used to collect aggregated statistics on site usage (pages visited, session duration, traffic source). IP addresses are processed in anonymized/masked form (IP masking), reducing the risk of direct User identification. In the absence of consent, this cookie is not activated.
- Google Search Console: A tool operating server-side via domain ownership verification and indexing data analysis provided by Google; it does not install cookies on the User's device and therefore requires no consent.
3.3 Profiling / Marketing Cookies
Lunocode currently does not use third-party profiling or marketing cookies. Any future implementation will be preceded by an update to this Cookie Policy and a request for explicit consent.
4Legal Basis
Technical cookies are installed without consent. Analytics cookies are installed subject to the User's free, specific, and informed consent, collected via the Cookie Banner on the site, in compliance with EDPB Guidelines 05/2020 on consent and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on cookies and tracking tools (July 9, 2021, No. 231).
5Managing Consent
Upon first access to the site, the User sees a Cookie Banner allowing them to:
- Accept the installation of all non-technical cookies;
- Refuse the installation of non-technical cookies, continuing to browse with only essential cookies active;
- Customize preferences, category by category, via the dedicated consent management widget.
Refusal or withdrawal of consent does not affect the usability of essential service features. Preferences can be modified at any time via the cookie management widget at the bottom of the site, or through browser settings to block or delete installed cookies. Note that disabling technical cookies via browser settings may compromise the proper operation of the SaaS service.
6Third-Party Cookies
For information on data processing by Google as an independent data controller regarding Google Analytics, refer to Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Google's opt-out tools (Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on).
7Changes to this Cookie Policy
The Controller reserves the right to update this Cookie Policy in the event of changes to trackers used or reference legislation. The updated version will be published on the site indicating the last updated date.
